[GBW] Brown Bag Bindery-Essential Tools 101



The Brown Bag Bindery
The Sharpest Pencil Bindery is proud to offer the first in a series of
one-day workshops* for students and emerging book artists who want to have
basic, affordable and portable bindery equipment for their home studio.
Utilizing eco-friendly paints to customize color and waxes to create a
unique aged finish, these one of a kind tools will brighten any studio
environment. This is a wonderful opportunity for book artists to advance
their skills as they continue to create books at home after taking a
workshop or community class using the Brown Bag Bindery.

Essential Tools 101
Complete and personalize: piercing cradle, sewing frame and finishing
press. A carrying tote is included.

Sylvia Ramos Alotta received her MFA from Columbia?s Interdisciplinary
Book and Paper Arts program. Before coming to Columbia, she was as an
Automotive Designer for General Motors and proprietor of Design Alotta
Inc. Currently, Sylvia is the sole proprietress of the Sharpest Pencil
Bindery+Book Arts Studio.
