[GBW] call for entries



*CALL FOR ENTRIES: NATIONAL JURIED EXHIBIT OF ARTISTS' BOOKS *
The Olde Towne Arts Center (OTAC) in Slidell, Louisiana presents a call 
for entries for TOPOPHILIA (love of place), a national juried exhibit of 
Artists' Books. Open to artists living or working within the USA. 
Submissions must be one-of-a-kind or a limited edition based on the 
exhibition theme. It may be an artists’ book structure, fine press work, 
fine binding, sculptural book, or a book object. All accepted work must 
be prepared for installation. This exhibit is about places that are near 
to our heart – rural or urban, public or private, internal or external, 
microscopic or macroscopic, singular or plural, real or imaginary, past 
or present. The exhibit is open to all interpretations on the theme. The 
juror and curator is Natasha Lovelace Habers, Assistant Professor of 
Art, at Kennesaw State University in Georgia. Entries must be postmarked 
by January 31, 2009, for March 13 - April 13, 2009 exhibition period. 
The entry fee is $25 for up to 3 entries, which may be submitted on CD
