I had the honor and pleasure of attending a 3-hour, hands-on  
demonstration of gold tooling with Jamie Kamph when she presented at  
the Helen Warren DeGolyer Triennial Bookbinding Conference in Dallas,  
June 2006.

Seems like a good time to plug both the 2009 conference and the  
competition; this is the "highest prize in bookbinding in America"  
that Ms. Kamph was awarded and mentioned in the CBS segment. She won  
for her beautiful binding of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (also  
featured on the segment) that is now part of the permanent collection  
of fine bindings at the Bridwell Library at SMU.

A well deserved award for Ms. Kamph; fantastic conference with  
presenters the caliber of Ms. Kamph every time. And, it only happens  
every three years.
