Beginning, Intermediate & Advanced Letterpress May 14th through July
30th, Wednesdays, 4:10-8:00
Design several letterpress projects and learn how to print them using
movable type and hand-operated presses. Through discussion and critique,
learn basic elements of design and typography, and how to integrate
other printing processes into letterpress work. Intermediate and
advanced students deepen their exploration of letterpress by designing a
program of study at a more complex and sophisticated level. Each student
leaves with a class portfolio.
Marnie Powers-Torrey holds an MFA in photography and is the Book Arts
