Workshop with Helene Jolis:
 
The American Academy of Bookbinding in Telluride, Colorado is offering a
one-week class this spring 2008 that has never been taught in the US. Helene
Jolis, a French finisher for Monique Mathieu, Sun Evrard and many others,
will lead a class on Contemporary Decoration Techniques.
 
All students will work on one or two large leather covered panels and will
utilize a number of techniques including onlay, inlay, relief, juxtaposition
and incision. 
 
The dates for the one-week class are: May 19-23, 2008 or May 26-30, 2008.
The cost for the workshop is $800. Class size is limited to eight students
only. It is expected that the classes will fill so reserve your place right
away.
