Hello to Rob or Karen,
I have a shear like this, with the flourishes and
original gauges, but was wondering wat the 'extra
parts' are, as I am always curious about my equipment.
For anyone interested, this is a good price, a shear
like this is a joy to work with.

ps- I would like to make it metric also tho, and why
WHY does it start measuring on the right at 5" in?
Why not start at 1"? Does anyone know this? Or is
this some odd bookbinders joke, if so, what is the
punch line? Plus, I have a 32nd inch addition to the
rule on the left, it works out really well with box
cutting.
