I'm trying to help the widow of a fellow bookbinder to dispose of his equipment. It took her 13 years to be ready to let go of it. This was a meticulous man, who kept everything in excellent condition. As you would expect, she had no trouble disposing of the small tools and materials, but she has a number of large machines left as follows:
One 7 foot tall solid steel book press complete with a number of boards. This is one heavy dude, capable of doing 20 or 30 books at once. As far as I can tell, everything works.
One manual heavy duty paper cutter which seems capable of cutting a couple of reams of paper at a time. About 4 foot tall, 2 foot wide and 3 fioot deep. Very heavy steel. No plastic or wood here.
One Singer heavy industrial sewing machine. Electric
One kind of homemade stiching machine. Electric
One heavy duty steel finishing press.
Price is negotiable and we can get a moving company to give us a price for delivery. If you want to see pictures, contact me at rev1964@xxxxxxxxx . If you are near Richmond, Virginia, you can stop by and take a look at the equipment. Thanks.
