[GBW] Friday Forum at Standards in Providence, RI
The Friday Night Forum
Standards of Excellence, Providence, RI
Friday, November 12 - 6:00 - 8:00
A new, experimental feature at this year's Standards of Excellence Seminar
will be a casual get-together, the Friday Night Forum. The Forum will be an
opportunity for those attending the conference to informally exchange
practical ideas about tips and techniques. The Forum will take place just
outside of the Vendor area, and the vendors will be invited to stay open
late. So, bring your favorite tools, materials, or structures to share with
your friends and colleagues. The format for the Forum can be a poster, a
table display, or a short demonstration.
A report of last years smash event from the Newsletter is below, and the
Friday Forum webpage at

updated with some pictures. Also at the site are some tips on creating your
poster.
In order to plan for the event, please let me know at
<FriForum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> what the topic of your poster will be. We'll add
it to the website so that attendees can gather a sense of what will be in
store for them. As was the case last year, we will also work on finding an
address to which the posters can be sent to simplify travel...
