Frank is right to say you want to find an agent you are comfortable with and ask her or him questions and then do a bit more research before making a final decision. This is an ongoing issue, particularly if you are restoring or conserving material. Do you belong to AIC? They have discussed this at various times and you may find some helpful advice from them or even ask someone near you who belongs.
