I am making a clamshell box for a book that is very warped and fragile. I am looking for advice as to what to use as a filler to support the book and keep it from moving around in the box.
Why not build internal supports out of board and then cover them with suede, paper, or whatever you generally use inside a clamshell? The internal supports would obviously have to be angled, or oddly shaped to accommodate the warp of the book.
