Re: [GBW] period binding

You might be interested to know that the binders of the Audubon Elephant
Folio found they had to use up to 3 goatskins per volume since the books
were so big, and the goats were so small.

Subject: period binding

To all:
I am looking for suggestions of someone to bind an elephant folio sized
french book in an appropriate period binding in morocco (if possible). It
is 16th or 17th century I believe. Thank you.
