Re: [GBW] children's book
Try "How a Book Is Made" by Aliki, Thomas Y. Crowell, NY, 1986. It's listed for
ages 7+. A series of cartoon cats describe the many components of bringing a
book to fruition, from author to salesperson. It's very sweet and enjoyable
while packing a whole lot of technical information into 32 pages. It's scope is
broad enough so a child could simply pick up the basic idea of creating a book,
while another child could begin understanding four color printing.
