Question about a colophon

Greetings all.... I am binding a book which has a printed colophon from the
printer
"of ninety-nine copies numbered in this edition & twelve printer's proofs,
this is number....." Since the printer bound most of the copies himself and
sold only a few in sheets, how should I number this unique copy?
