Re: kangaroo leather
Hi Sam,
How are things going in the city? Thank god spring has finally come to Vermont.
I'm curious about the kanga skins your selling.
Can you send me samples of the skins you have in stock with a price sheet.
Thanks.
Karl

Hi Everyone!
Harcourt Bindery is introducing aniline dyed kangaroo skins to the bookbinding community. These skins look and work like the best grade of calfskin. Kangaroo skins have been known for their strength and suppleness, and they do not have a follicled surface like sheep. Compared to calf, the pricing is very advantageous. Skins are 4.5 - 6+ feet. Our staff has been using kangaroo for some time and can attest to its wonderful handling properties, including the fact that it tools very well. Harcourt Bindery is carrying 3 shades of browns/tans, and will send samples on request. Address inquiries to
