My Cook N Stir has been giving out the past few years as well. There was a
posting Mar 6, 2000 on the BookArts Web and the Consdist list about the
Tefal Le Saucier  available in England.   I contacted the company and they
were willing to send me one airmail for 27 pounds, plus the cost of the
stirrer which is currently 59.50 pounds. ( I just checked the site and it is
still available) In addition you will need one of the step up transformers.
I left it at that, but am still interested. Perhaps we can get a discount
for a larger order?
I too have contacted tefal directly without good response.
