Benefits of Membership
Members of the Guild of Book Workers have a
wide variety of services and activities available:
- The Guild of Book Workers Newsletter,
a bimonthly newsletter.
- The Guild of Book Workers Journal, a semi-
annual journal.
- Membership directory, the Study Opportunities List and the Supplies & Services Directory.
- A lending library of historical and contemporary
books, catalogs, newsletters and videos.
- A listserv for online information sharing.
- Traveling exhibitions of membersʼ works.
- Participation in the Seminar on Standards of
Excellence in Hand Bookbinding (referred to as just "Standards").
- Regional chapter activities.
Join the Guild
To join the Guild, please fill out the GBW Membership Application (PDF). Send your application to the address on the form via regular mail with your check or credit card information enclosed. Membership forms with credit card payments can be faxed to: 303-479-9556. The Guild of Book Workers does not take online membership applications at this time.

- Membership dues subject to change. Please see the GBW Membership Application for current dues.
- Membership is for one year from date of joining or renewing.
- Two family members may join with a single membership fee and receive a single mailing, but have separate directory listings.
- Members will receive all publications for the coming year. This includes: 6 GBW Newsletters, the GBW Journal, and the GBW Membership Directory (which is published each Fall).
- To be included in the current Membership Directory, you must join before September 1.
