Binder's Statement: When I began working out the idea for this binding I knew I wanted to work with paper, and I wanted to incorporate as much of the papermaker's craft in the design as possible. Constructing a binding that resembles a paper mold, to house these beautiful handmade papers seemed like an appropriate answer.
